The Project Management Professional MicroCertificate Program begins with the fundamentals of project management through a beginner-level, "Project Management Essentials" course. Intended for those with no formal training in Project Management. The course guides learners through an understanding of how to apply the most essential concepts of project management fundamentals. The program then leads learners to complete eight more in-depth intermediate-level courses, focused on various topics throughout. All listed courses are mandatory to give participants a fulsome project management education.

The Project Management certification has been adapted specifically to meet the needs of First Nations with the use of custom case studies and other educational techniques. The case study project is used throughout the course, making the key concepts relatable, resulting in easier on-the-job application.
